Back Care Yoga
If your work involves sitting or standing for extended periods, a regular back care yoga practise will help to relieve minor back aches, stiffness and fatigue, strengthen your back muscles and do wonders for your posture and point of view. If you’re sitting or standing for extended periods outside of work — stop doing that 🙂
This Back Care & Back Strengthening Yoga Class is a gentle hour of stretching and strengthening that blends breath work with asanas [yoga postures] that are safe, simple and effective. It also includes core-focused poses for the stability and support that stronger back and abdominal muscles will provide.
Please note: if you suffer with chronic back (or other) pain we’ll discuss it before your class. Please see your health practitioner before beginning a yoga or other physical exercise practice. Seriously!
